These are genuine Fordite stones…from the Ford Kansas City factory in Claycomp, Missouri where they make the Ford F150.
Fordite is the built up, baked on, layers of paint that accumulate on the on the machinery that carries vehicle bodies through the painting booths.
These pieces were collected in the factory and hand finished to become a piece of automotive history. - Set in a handcrafted sterling silver setting, this pendant is slightly over 2 inches long including the bail.
- It's hung on a 21 inch chain that can be shortened or lengthened upon request. The pendant can also be removed for a variety of looks.
